Fast & Furious 6’ Movie Review- Tanmay Dubey

Starring :Vin Diesel; Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez,  Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Sung Kang, Luke Evans, Gina Carano & John Ortiz

Director:- Justin Lin

Vroom-Vroom and Dhoom-Dhoom ( I didn’t say 1&2) ‘The Fast & Furious’ franchise is back in their sixth edition and what do they have to offer ? Speed, Stupendous action, Blowing bridges, Flying bodies and kick ass music.

(Dominic) Van Diesel and gang are living unknown life after Rio. Luke Hobbs (Paul Johnson aka ROCK with buulgiing muscles) calls them to fight, Owen Shaw former British special forces soldier (Luke Evans) who is on a lookout to steal a night shade device which could supposedly stop the power of a city ( our state electricity DISCOMs already have it!) and sell it to the highest bidder. The Gang agrees to help The ROCK in return of total amnesty of their past crimes. But hang on…., (before the Operation begins and since this is a sequel we have a blast from the past!) Dominic’s former girlfriend Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) is working with Shaw with her memory all wiped out! And so this becomes personal than professional J

Director Justin Lin once again brings the same high octane action drama to our eyes. The camera movement is amazing. Tyrese Gibson lines are hilarious to the core. There are some sub plots which drags the film a bit; the film also becomes little to dramatic and uses the age old cliché of the bad guy taking hostage of the family members and at times a little to filmy sequences.

But all in all the film is like a dose of steroid for action junkies ! hang on….before we finish the film leaves with a cue for seventh edition too!
